The READER.EXE was developed by Stephane Bausson, the Telecard father. It was developed for his par port interface (take a look in telecard.txt). He was so kind to send me the sources in Jan/98, and I have adapted it for a Serial Type Reader like the DumbMouse MAKInterface SerProg I have made small cosmetic changes also, however the writer of the original routines is Stephane and he deserves our deep respect. I have made the adaptation with the MAKInterface, and the Software is working with and without power supply. I have not testet it with the DumbMouse and the SerProg, but it should work. However, if you intend to write to the Phonecard, to Decrease the 5 Stage Octal Counter or to do something else, it is recommended you use a external power supply. The power the Serial port is giving may not be enough, that varys on differend PC's and various Telecards, some are consuming more power and some less. Ok, that's all for now.
